Sudan is facing a colossal crisis.
Sudan is facing one of the largest humanitarian crises in the world today. More than a year of conflict has displaced millions of people across the country. Families have fled their homes with very little, leaving behind their income, belongings and any sense of stability. Many are now living in overcrowded camps or temporary shelters, both inside Sudan and across borders in countries like Egypt and Chad. Access to food, clean water and medical care has been severely disrupted.
£175 will help provide food packs to 5 vulnerable families in Sudan
In many areas, markets are no longer functioning and supply routes have broken down. Families depend on aid to eat, water sources are limited or unsafe, and basic healthcare is out of reach for many. Children are among the most affected, with malnutrition rising and families struggling to provide even one meal a day. This is an ongoing crisis. It has not slowed down, and the need continues to grow. Your Zakat can reach families who have lost everything, providing food, water and essential support at a time when there are very few alternatives.

The Prophet ﷺ said: “You see the believers in their mutual compassion and care as one body. When one part suffers, the whole body responds with wakefulness and fever.” (Bukhari)
Standing with Sudan.
We cannot leave the people of Sudan to face this alone. MATW is delivering urgent relief inside Sudan, including food packs and clean water, while also supporting displaced families who have crossed into neighbouring countries. Through on-the-ground teams and trusted partners, your support helps:
- Provide food to families without reliable access to meals
- Deliver clean water in areas where safe sources are limited
- Support displaced families with essential aid and temporary shelter

Providing is a direct command from Allah SWT, Ar-Razaq, the All Provider:
“And spend in the way of Allah from what We have provided you.” (63:10)
Every meal delivered and every litre of water provided reaches someone who needs it immediately.
Allah says in the Qur’an: “Whoever saves one life, it is as though he has saved all of mankind.” (5:32)
Your Zakat can provide real relief to families who have lost their homes, their income and their access to basic necessities. Give in a way that allows you to answer, when asked what you did, that you did not turn away.
